I have to be honest and say that whilst toasted sandwich makers are quick and produce tasty food, they can be a bit “faddy” when you use them off and on. However, this one is a sandwich toaster, waffle and panini maker as well. That should make it more popular all year round!

These are food grade and suitable for holding drinking water when you are away. If I am going to be away and not staying on a camping site, I throw a few of these into the van filled with fresh drinking water for the trip. It has a dispenser tap, a larger pouring or filling circular opening and also a handy handle for carrying. They are also suitable when you are on a camp site as well, as they are easy to fill and transport the water.

This will save you a fortune on lpg gas bottles! Yes, there is a fairly large financial outlay, but it will pay for itself the more you use it. This is not just the refillable tank, but includes everything you need to operate a legal refillable lpg cylinder with an external fill up point, which most filling stations now insist on having. With fuel prices increasing all of the time, the cost of filling this size of tank is about a quarter of the price of normal gas bottles to buy.

So, you have everything packed up and ready to go, you start driving down the road and all you hear is bottles clinking together, which soon becomes very annoying. Get yourself one of these robust foam bottle holders that firmly holds up to 8 bottles. It feels good quality and it holds the bottles firmly…..and quietly! Alternative cheaper bottle grate option too.

Considering the neat size of this washing machine and spin dryer, it really carries out these functions very well. If you are away from washing and laundry facilities, it is worth having one of these in your garage. You could also keep it stored in your shower if you are stuck for space. It washes well and spins acceptably and we use it when we are away on the road.

I have this package and use it regularily. Costing less than £400, I thought it was worth buying to test out how well it works and if I would in fact use it. I’m very please with the performance. I can use it in Spring, Summer and Autumn, but to be honest, struggle in the winter to get enough solar power into the battery. That suits me fine at present and it gives me more than eneough power for 2 mobile phones, a tablet and a laptop all of which are heavily used each day as i work from my van. Well worth the money!

This is a handy little door hook for hanging anything you want on really. My wife uses it to hook on coat hangers, especially after she has washed clothes and needs them to be aired and dried. You just pull down the lever and directly hook on your items and then push it up again flush when finished. There is a solid, quality feel to this product and has proved useful.

You might wonder why an air compressor is listed on this website? I have one of these to keep the tyres on my RV inflated to the correct pressure. I bought a smaller car air compressor that said it would do the job, but it was too small and couldn’t reach the 86 psi I needed. You might think this is “overkill” for pumping up a few tyres every now and again, but it is truely worth it and does so much more as well. Designed for DIY and trade applications the HY5508 silenced oil free air compressor is ideal for spray-painting, blowing away dirt and dust, nailing, inflating tyres & inflatables or operating air tools. Before I got this air compressor, I used to take the RV to the local tyre depot to get them to check the 6 tyre pressures. I always handed the guy £5 for his trouble, even though he said they did this for free. I could nearly always see the dread on his face each time I pulled up, which is why I invested in this compressor. Add up all of those fivers and it more than pays for itself!

These work! I was a bit skeptical when I first ordered them, but they just soak up any moisture in wardrobes and cupboards. It’s amazing to see how much water actually accumulates in the bottom pocket when you leave them in the wardrobe for a while. An absolute must in the autumn and winter, although I keep one in the wardrobe all year round. Also a good idea if you store your van in the off season. An inexpensive product that will aid moisture and damp removal to keep your van and belongings safe.

Renogy supply quality leisure batteries and this lithium battery is exceptional. It even has an automated heater in the battery which comes on when the outside temperature gets too low, so as you can continue to charge it. Please watch out for this function if you live in the Northern Hemisphere and want to use your van all year round. This 100Ah battery will replace 2 x 100Ah lead acid batteries and will last a lot longer too. Prices of these batteries are falling now at last and it’s now the right time to consider these as a replacement.

This is a very popular small basic TV that should fit anywhere. It even has it’s own rechargeable battery, which saves your leisure batteries. The big advantage to this TV is the very low power that it takes to run it and that will mean a lot less drain on your leisure batteries when you need to use them. Note that it is not a Smart TV, so if you want to watch streaming services like Amazon or Netflix, you will have to plug in a Fire Stick or similar into the TV. You can find a Smart TV using that link instead.

When you are searching for a new TV for a caravan, motorhome or RV, the type, size and power consumption are the 3 main things to consider. The TV must be the right size to suit where you have planned to fit it in your van. You can get a more basic TV than this one, but the screen will be a lot smaller and it will not be a Smart type TV. Getting a Smart TV makes sense, so as you can use the various streaming services available. The power consumption is also a consideration, as if you get a TV that is too big with a high wattage, then it is going to drain your leisure battery much quicker and reduce the time you can spend watching programmes. This caravan smart TV is also 240 volt compatible when you are using EHU. This particular 12 volt Cello TV ticks all of the boxes!

Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) For Motorhomes and RVs are a very good idea for safety and peace of mind. The price of these systems can be up to £600 if you want to have all the “bells and whistles”. If you just want a basic system that will cover up to 6 tyres, then the Zfflyh Universal Truck TPMS package is all that you really need. I have them fitted on the 6 tyres on my RV and do not travel without them being activated. Any problems with pressure or temperature, etc. will be flagged up in the dashboard screen, although thankfully there have been no issues to date. This system could save you getting an unwanted blowout with all the dangers and hassle that would cause. It’s well worth the budget price to get the extra protection.

Ever been away in your caravan, motorhome or RV and been short of water, but you really need a shower? Staying off-grid for a while and need to preserve every drop of water you have, but you would love a freshen up? These Scrubzz wipes are ideal in this situation and the thing is, they really work! Just a few drops of water on the wipes activates the in-built soap and as you wash your skin, the sponge starts to lather. There is enough for a full body cleanup in only one wipe. You will not believe how clean you will feel afterwards and you have saved many litres of precious water too. There is no need to dry off afterwards either, so you are saving on towels and laundry as well. I always keep a pack of these in the cupboard below the wash-hand basin in the RV. They are an absolute must when you are on the road. More details on these sponge wipes here.

If you are searching for a good, reliable, basic lead-acid leisure battery, this one would be a good choice.
I have had 3 of these leisure batteries in my Four Winds RV for the past 3 years and they are still going strong!
There is no topping up the cells with distilled water as they are sealed and maintenance free.
Just install them, wire them in parallel, give them a good charge and off you go. Suitable for caravans, campervans, motorhomes, RV’s and marine applications as well.

The Flojet 18555-000 DC portable waste pump is the ideal solution for emptying holding tanks on American RV or recreational vehicles and allow you to avoid dump stations. The macerator section grinds waste down to a particle size of only 3mm maximum, so it can easily be pumped through a garden hose 15mm minimum and up to 25mm diameter.
The pump section is self-priming which allows the unit to be mounted above the tank in a convenient location. Just connect the macerator onto the end you normally attach your large emptying hose to.
This macerator empties a typical 30-gallon holding tank in less than 3 minutes, which is very fast indeed.
This means you can now park your RV in any caravan or motorhome park and use the standard Elsen type emptying point for cassette type toilets. You don’t have to worry if where you are going has a dedicated RV black waste dump anymore!
