When you are searching for a new TV for a caravan, motorhome or RV, the type, size and power consumption are the 3 main things to consider. The TV must be the right size to suit where you have planned to fit it in your van. You can get a more basic TV than this one, but the screen will be a lot smaller and it will not be a Smart type TV. Getting a Smart TV makes sense, so as you can use the various streaming services available. The power consumption is also a consideration, as if you get a TV that is too big with a high wattage, then it is going to drain your leisure battery much quicker and reduce the time you can spend watching programmes. This caravan smart TV is also 240 volt compatible when you are using EHU. This particular 12 volt Cello TV ticks all of the boxes!

The Flojet 18555-000 DC portable waste pump is the ideal solution for emptying holding tanks on American RV or recreational vehicles and allow you to avoid dump stations. The macerator section grinds waste down to a particle size of only 3mm maximum, so it can easily be pumped through a garden hose 15mm minimum and up to 25mm diameter.
The pump section is self-priming which allows the unit to be mounted above the tank in a convenient location. Just connect the macerator onto the end you normally attach your large emptying hose to.
This macerator empties a typical 30-gallon holding tank in less than 3 minutes, which is very fast indeed.
This means you can now park your RV in any caravan or motorhome park and use the standard Elsen type emptying point for cassette type toilets. You don’t have to worry if where you are going has a dedicated RV black waste dump anymore!

This will save you a fortune on lpg gas bottles! Yes, there is a fairly large financial outlay, but it will pay for itself the more you use it. This is not just the refillable tank, but includes everything you need to operate a legal refillable lpg cylinder with an external fill up point, which most filling stations now insist on having. With fuel prices increasing all of the time, the cost of filling this size of tank is about a quarter of the price of normal gas bottles to buy.

These work! I was a bit skeptical when I first ordered them, but they just soak up any moisture in wardrobes and cupboards. It’s amazing to see how much water actually accumulates in the bottom pocket when you leave them in the wardrobe for a while. An absolute must in the autumn and winter, although I keep one in the wardrobe all year round. Also a good idea if you store your van in the off season. An inexpensive product that will aid moisture and damp removal to keep your van and belongings safe.

You might wonder why an air compressor is listed on this website? I have one of these to keep the tyres on my RV inflated to the correct pressure. I bought a smaller car air compressor that said it would do the job, but it was too small and couldn’t reach the 86 psi I needed. You might think this is “overkill” for pumping up a few tyres every now and again, but it is truely worth it and does so much more as well. Designed for DIY and trade applications the HY5508 silenced oil free air compressor is ideal for spray-painting, blowing away dirt and dust, nailing, inflating tyres & inflatables or operating air tools. Before I got this air compressor, I used to take the RV to the local tyre depot to get them to check the 6 tyre pressures. I always handed the guy £5 for his trouble, even though he said they did this for free. I could nearly always see the dread on his face each time I pulled up, which is why I invested in this compressor. Add up all of those fivers and it more than pays for itself!
