After enjoying many years in camping, I thought I would launch this website with some of the equipment that I have found helpful.
We started with a small touring caravan 40 years ago when the children were young and we enjoyed every moment. We had a few touring caravans, but when the children grew up a bit and didn’t want to come with us, we decided to buy a static caravan. The static was used a lot in the first few years, but the caravan site was quite a bit away and we found we were using it less and less.
My wife then suggested a motorhome instead, to which I said, we will never use it! We bought a 20 year old basic motorhome and it turned out that we used it more than the tourer or static!
We upgraded the motorhome a number of times and spent more and more time in it. We changed to an American RV just before lockdown, originally intending to go abroad, but we all know that Covid put a stop to a lot of things, including our plans.
We still have the RV and are full time in it, so as you can see, I have had a lot of experience with caravans, motorhomes and now an RV.
